A formal suit is also known as a dinner suit or tuxedo

In recent years we have seen the trend for weddings to set the dress code as formal or black tie. A tuxedo is the only correct choice for that. However if the guests are wearing a tuxedo then the wedding party need to find a way to be dressed a little more spectacularly. A custom made suit allows you to create something very individual and special.

A dinner suit will always have a satin lapel. This is what makes it a dinner suit. The lapel can be shawl or peak or ( less correctly ) notch. It should always be one buttoned – two and three buttoned jackets come and go in fashion. Choose a midnight blue, black brocade, patterned weave or velvet for a subtle difference. Alternatively an Ivory or pale grey jacket has instant impact. Maybe add a brocade lining to individualise the suit, black, silver or burgundy can look amazing and keep the feel very formal.
